Responsibilities & Duties
Technical Support for the following systems:
o Hand held systems (Van Sales – Intermec & Warehousing – Symbol)
o Time & Attendance Systems
o Setup, install & trouble shoot hardware and networking problems
o Fix/maintain: PCs, Laptops, Printers, network equipment’s, cabling and other IT related systems
Assist/own any of the following tasks as per her/his assignment:
o Network (WAN/LAN), upgrades and new requirements
o Support and maintain all IT equipment’s in the regions
o Microsoft Exchange – Email maintenance and support
o CITRIX connectivity and support
o Microsoft products installation and maintenance
o End user’s software upgrades and maintenance
o Implement and monitor security policies (internal & external users – i.e. internet access)
o Maintains the inventory records of all IT equipment within their regions
o Maintain service log files to be submitted on weekly basis to assess the need of the technical support in the regions
Assist in backup of existing systems, applications and database
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues, through the helpdesk, related to computer systems, software, and hardware
Walk customer through problem-solving process
Gain feedback from customers about computer usage
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Desired Experience:
2 years of experience.
