Job Description

Support in design, monitoring and enhancing Learning & Development and Career Development programs in order to identify and plan for career progression routes of employees. Assist in developing and execution of appropriate learning plans and competency development.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls
  • Ensure all logistics e.g. training venue readiness, training materials, etc. are prepared for all in-house and external training programs
  • Receive and process training requests and ensure they are processed in a timely manner
  • Ensure all training related payments for training providers are paid in coordination with Group Finance
  • Assist in planning the annual training activities as per the training budget and deadlines
  • Support in providing appropriate reports and analysis of learning needs to support the budgeting process for learning and career development activities
  • Support in conducting internal courses internally according to the training needs analysis
  • Supervise the in-house, public and online training programs
  • Identify areas of improvement in his/her subordinates and ensure their continuous growth
  • Coach and provide formal and informal positive constructive feedback to ensure that work is carried in an efficient manner
  • Recommend training needs to bridge staff skill gap
  • Perform other job-related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that are often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management
