Job Description

Inspect and test mechanical assemblies and systems, such as motors, vehicles, and transportation equipment for defects and wear to ensure compliance with specifications

Responsibilities & Duties

• Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls
• Effective communication and reporting results through internal documentations
• Capable also of Mechanical Test and Inspection
• An awareness of the environmental impact of motor design ideas
• Work with internal resources and vendors to generate clear analytical concepts of motor failure.
• Conduct troubleshooting and failure analysis on site and in the factory
• Manage vendors claim and monitoring work process till the closing of the claim
• Develops materials & product specifications for repair using research, analytical skills, conceptual and planning skills, and computer-aided design
• Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of services operations
• Ensure goals are met by working with operations, Q/C, and supplies to clearly outline product specifications, discuss services process issues, and resolve service / repair problems in a timely manner
• Provide training / mentoring to less experienced department staff
• Generate innovative ideas, suggest new project areas and establish technical plans
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and technical developments affecting areas of responsibilities
• Perform other job-related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that is often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances

Desired Experience:

• 3 years of experience
• Manufacturing of motor products experience is preferred
